Since our establishment over 60 years ago, we have advanced the interests of our members through expertise, services, and support.

Our talented and skilled employees have specialized expertise in the health sector.

HANS works with its extensive network of partners and stakeholders to identify and address critical health issues, develop evidence-based policies and strategies, and promote health education and awareness across the province. Its membership includes individuals, organizations, and healthcare professionals who share a common goal of improving the overall health and wellness of Nova Scotians.

HANS offers a range of programs and services, including Clinical Engineering, Labour Relations & Compensation Analysis, Group Benefit Solutions, Member & Partner Engagement, Shared Financial Services; and Wound Care and Recruitment & Retention (via our subsidiary igility).
